Urgent Lung Transplant Needed For Warren "Zip" Jones

Davie County Enterprise Article

As a recent article in the Davie County Enterprise documented, Warren "Zip" Jones is in desperate need of a lung transplant. The same disease that recently took his father's life is now after Zip. There is no cure. There is no treatment. But there is hope with a lung transplant.

The costs involved are astronomical, nearly $700,000. This is way beyond what the family can afford. Doctors are donating their portion of the costs, but that still leaves much to pay. The first hurdle to cross is the $55,000 hospital bill. After Zip's savings, there is still $25,000 needed to qualify for the surgery. There will be more hurdles, but the $25,000 is urgently needed to keep this process going and that is our initial goal. After the transplant, there are four months of recovery in Durham and the costs of his caregiver. Medicine will run over $4000 a month. The needs are great.

Zip's extended family and friends are seeking donations to help this family through the months ahead. Zip's transplant will not happen without help. Please help ease the burden on the Jones family.
